Description
Have you struggled with collecting data on the use of Accessible Educational Materials for students who require them? We invite you to discover how a group of states and districts, in collaboration with The National Center on Accessible Educational Materials (AEM Center) at CAST and AEM Corporation, have engaged in an iterative process using the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) to develop five Connections (data reports) related to accessible formats provided to students with disabilities.
During this informative webinar, you will learn about the steps taken to develop these Connections and explore how these reports support consistent and reliable data collection across the nation that will help the field better communicate the impact of high-quality AEM and accessible formats for students with disabilities who require them. Finally, learn about upcoming extensions of this work, including a pilot project, and about how you might engage with these new data standards to support your own sites and students.
