Description
Providing accessible educational materials (AEM) is a shared responsibility that requires coordination at the state and local levels to meet federal regulations and ensure inclusive technology systems for students with disabilities. The purpose of the National AEM Center’s Quality Indicators is to assist states and districts with planning, implementing, and evaluating systems for providing AEM. In this presentation, leaders in three states will share highlights of implementing the Quality Indicators over the course of four years. You’ll leave with tools, models, and resources that can be adapted for use by your own state agency or district.
