Description

Administrators, educators, and parents/caregivers who engage with and serve as members of IEP teams will learn about the places in the IEP where it might be appropriate to refer to a student's need and use of accessible educational materials and technologies. Participants will be provided with supporting resources and action steps to be prepared for their next IEP meeting.

3 objectives:

  • Understand the importance of including AEM in the IEPs of students who require them
  • Identify and discuss locations in the IEP where it may be appropriate to refer to a student’s need for and use of AEM
  • Explore resources from The National AEM Center specific to supporting the process of including AEM in the IEP
