Description

Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning are complementary and intricately linked components of inclusive teaching and learning in higher education settings. In this panel discussion, experts representing IT, Disability Services, and faculty perspectives will lead participants to a shared understanding of the benefits of making digital accessibility a priority in UDL implementation. The AEM Center Quality Indicators for Higher Education will be used with exemplars to identify and explore the components of creating accessible learning experiences for higher ed students, as well as a coordinated, campus-wide system for the provision of AEM.
